Overwrite (情報や感情、自己体験への上書き)をコンセプトに作品制作を行なっている。

脳内に蓄積された感情や経験をはじめとする情報は、正の意を持って役立つことも有れば自身を苦しめる負のトリガーにもなり得る。
SHIKATA自身はその理由を、自己体験に基づき脳内に保存されて以降、更新されない情報記憶として存り続けているからであると考えている。
意図的または無意識的な脳内における情報の蓄積に対しOverwrite(上書き)を施すことにより、
新しい存在を自ら作ることで過去の経験や負のトリガーに対し、リスペクトを持って向き合い乗り越えることが出来ると考え作品を制作をしている。

SHIKATA believes that this is because once stored in the brain based on personal experiences, it continues to exist as non-updated information memory.
He creates his works with the belief that by intentionally or unconsciously overwriting the information accumulated in the brain,
he can create a new existence that allows one to face past experiences and negative triggers with respect and overcome them.
