2018年 活動拠点を東京に移す。

人は無意識に対人関係、環境ごとに異なる人格を演じて生活している。つまり誰もが当たり前のように社会生活を営む中で様々な仮面、ペルソナを使い分けている。それは悪いことでも特別なことでもなく、ごく自然に身につく社会を営むために必要な力である。私はこのような在り方を肯定しながらも、自分とは何者なのかと違和感を覚えることが度々ある。そうした問題定義や違和感を根幹として、日常に於いてペルソナを上手く使い分ける程に見失ってしまう「本当の自分の存在意義」をコンセプトに制作している。

Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1993.
Graduated from the Master’s Program at Kyushu Sangyo University, Graduate School of Art and Design in 2018. Moved his base of operations to Tokyo in 2018.

People unconsciously adopt different personalities in different environments and relationships. In other words, everyone uses multiple masks or personas in their social lives as a matter of course. It is neither a bad thing nor a special thing; it is a necessary ability to run a society that people acquire quite naturally.

While affirming this way of being, the artist often feel discomfort with his own identity. The concept of Yumisashi’s work is “the meaning of true existence,” which he tends lose every time when “using” different personas in daily life.
