東京を拠点に活動する。

ファッションデザインを学んだのち、アパレルデザイナーとして勤務。その後イラストレーターとして広告の世界へ転身し、2021年にアーティストとして活動を開始。
2010年代の広告業界で女性像を表現してきたキャリアを通じて、イラストレーションを現代アートの主題として再構築して表現し、多様性が謳われる現代の女性の変遷する美しさをリアルタイムで捉えて表現する。
雑誌の一部を拡大コピーしたような表現手法をとり、この方法を通じて、視覚的な言語を使ってストーリーを語りたいと考える。

また、ソーシャルメディア・オンライン上で、情報発信や議論が活発に行われている第4波フェミニズム世代の媚びない意思のある21世紀の女性像を表現の主軸におき、時代と共に変わる女性の心情や個性を描くことで、現代アートのステートメントを発信する。

Based in Tokyo

After studying fashion design, Itaba began her career as an apparel designer. She later transitioned to the advertising industry as an illustrator before officially becoming an artist in 2021.

Itaba’s work draws from her experiences in the advertising world during the 2010s. She reconstructs and interprets illustrations as elements of contemporary art, focusing on the evolving beauty of modern women and celebrating their diversity in real-time.

Her expression resembles an enlarged version of a magazine cut-out, which allows her to tell stories through visual language. This technique captures the essence of her subject matter while making a statement about the contemporary woman.

Itaba highlights the identity of 21st-century women—those who are strong, assertive, and part of the fourth wave feminist movement. These women actively share and discuss ideas on social media and online platforms. Through her art, Itaba conveys the feelings and personal experiences of women as they adapt to changing times, offering commentary on contemporary art and society.
